Burnt Out on Sympathy

I've come to my senses,
That I've become senseless,
I could give you lessons on how to ruin your friendships,
Every last conviction, I smoked them all away,
I drank my frustrations down the drain, out of the way,
So I sit and wait and wonder,
"Does anyone else feel like me?"
Someone so tired of their routines and disappearing self-esteems,

I'll sing along,
Yeah with every emergency,
Just sing along,
I'm the king of catastrophies,
I'm so far gone,
That deep down inside I think it's fine by me,
I'm my own worst enemy

I could be an expert on co-dependency,
I could write the best book on underage tragedy,
I've been spending my time at the local liquor store,
I've been sleeping nightly on my best friends kitchen floor,
So I sit and wait and wonder,
"Does anyone else feel like me?"
I'm so over-dosed on apathy and burnt out on sympathy.

Let the meaning slip away
Lost my faith in another day,
Self deprication seems okay,
I never thought I'd make it anyway

I'm my own worst enemy

-so many frustrations right now...seems like Less Than Jake are the only ones who know how I feel..just so ready for all. of. it. to. end. But I'm my own worst enemy...

Something That's Had a Huge Impact On My Life Recently

In a very weird way, Kanye West's music has had a huge impact on me. Everyone listens to him because 1. He's popular 2. He's a great producer & 3. He's relevant and controversial. However, I've been listening to his music a lot lately, and in many of his songs (both popular and unpopular) he keeps it real, and he has some amazing insights and criticisms of society as both a whole, and certain parts of society that radically need reforming.

Like, not some sissy stage at some small, hole-in-the-wall club, but I mean a big stage with all the lights and the people. Whether I'm in a band, performing individually, or generally involved in the music scene. I wanna be on the big stage.

Someone I Just Can't Live Without

Samantha Zieber, my twin, my best friend. Like, the last three years would literally be nothing without her in them. She's the best best friend I could even dream of, and the fact she's put up with all my crap, issues, problems, etc. is proof that we are best friends forever mayn. She knows when I'm down...and DEFINITELY knows what I'm happy, and she knows me inside and out better than anyone else. We're also married on Facebook...
